Hi

Im using this switch to connect my computer and my Blu-ray player (sony BDP-S1100) together.

Now this switch says it can process data at a rate of up to 200Mbps, so what does that actually mean? im using the regular ADSL in Australia. So should i have gone for the Gigabyte switch that processes data at 10/100/1000M,

So my question is, if i keep the slower version of these switches will it slow down my internet and/or my Blu-ray player? Should i have bought the faster one?

No. Your internet speed is not that fast, unless you pay a lot and have really fast internet. If not, then you won't notice a difference.
