Transfer Time

Don't know exactly where this would go, but I'll try here.

I have a few questions.

Number 1. How is transfer time for a block of data in a hard drive calculated??

Number 2. What is the transfer time for a single block if a hard drive had 30 sectors at 3600 rpm?

Number 3. Is there enough information to answer question number 2?

I don't know much about computers, that is why I am asking. :D Thank You.
 
1. Depends on the
- architecture involved and the geometry of the drive
- block addressing technique used
- cache utilization
2. How many marks is this worth? ;)
