Transferring data between internal HDs

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to transfer data from one traditional internal HD to an SSD? Basically, I have one SSD to boot my computer, one SSD to download everything to, and one traditional HD to store all my junk. My one SSD is full and I was wondering if I could move everything on there over to my traditional HD? And I don't mean make a copy.

Before: (Data) SSD1 / (Free) HD
After: (Free) SSD1 / (Data) HD

Thanks in advance!

Just move whatever miscellaneous crap you don't want on the SSD over to the mechanical drive.

After it's copied (and you verified it was copied) to the new drive, just delete it from the old one.

Ok. As a follow up. It seems to be moving only part of it and every time I try again it is adding a full 100gbs to my tb HD. When I look for duplicate files to delete on my traditional HD I moved it over too, the only thing there is a my pc icon and the only option is to restore it. What the heck is going on here? Any clues?
