Transferring files using USB

Hi, I'm beginning programming, but would like to use a computer (to program) without internet connection. I want to transfer Visual C# Express from this computer to my offline one. What file would I put on the usb? The installer, or just the file? Just a little confused as to how I'd go about this.

You can't just transfer the program from one computer to another. You would have to install the program from download or install cd.

Visual Studio Express is a free download from MS here: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/eng/downloads#d-2012-express so download the ISO on a computer that has an internet connection, burn it to a CD/DVD then use the CD/DVD to install it on the computer with no internet connection.
