Transferring software to new coputer HELP?

Hi I'm not real computer savvy but can do a lot of the basic stuff my Question is I bought a new computer with windows 7 and I want to know if there is way to transfer my software ,programs and files from one pc to the other a lot of the software has been downloaded from the internet a few programs I have the disc for so I could just reload them but I was wondering about all the programs I dont have discs for Thank you,

You can't unless you have all the install files or cd's to install. pretty much you have to download all your programs again.
