Transferring Software to new hard drive?

I was referred here by a member of another board. I'm thinking about building a computer how ever I was wondering if I could save some cost in the coping/transferring some programs, MS Office, CAD 2000, Primavera P3, from my old computer to my new one. I have the disks for CAD and P3 so I’m not worried about those but MS Office came with the computer that I bought so I don't have the disks.

Background of my situation

I would appriciate your help, thanks.

You should be okay putting this software on your new computer as long as you delete on your old computer because your only issued one license with the purchase of the softare. As far as MS Offic, if you dont have this disks, you cant install it. Sometime your computer manufacture, like dell, might put the installation software on their own "recovery cd" or something like that.

Just want to make sure I understand you are saying and you undestand what I'm asking.

I'm asking if I can transfer MS Office from my current hard drive to a new one using some type of cloning/copying software. You are saying that I won't be able.

Is this correct?
