so heres my problem:

i have microsoft office installed on my laptop and i want to put it on my desktop but i can't find the disc. is there any way of just copying the files onto the desktop using a memory stick?

i tried just copying the whole "office" folder from the program files but that didn't work....

thanks in advance, kain

No, you will need to use a disc as the folder doesnt contain the registry files assiociated with microsoft office.

If only this was possible.....My job would be 50% easier!

Above poster is right though, the only way this is possible is if there are no ties to the registry and system files involved. Not too many applications can do this though because of the limitations and complexity.
