Trash Can?

Hi,
On the icon for the trash can on vista, You no how it tells you if it's full or not. Like it is a recycling bin with paper if it is full. If there is no files in the recycling bin then the icon wont have crumbled up paper in there. But on my dads vista it is weird! I empty the trash can and it does not change the trash can icon! When I put stuff in it it does not change at all either! So what is going wrong? It changes every hour or so? So does anyone have a solutions?:confused:

Edit: It changes every hour to anything!
 
Right click the desktop and click refresh. its nothing new, windows xp and vista does this ever so often. nothing to worry about.

If refreshing desktop dont work rebooting computer should.

Does not work. It does this every day even if I reboot so :p
 
right click on the trashcan and go to shortcut. itll make another icon on desktop names shortcut recyclebin. then delete the oriinal one that is givng your troubles

Nope, Still not working. Imma make a video of the problem! Because I feel like it :p.

never seen that problem before and I'm sure all or most people around here havent seen it also. Might be best to ask Microsoft whats going on with that.
