Trend Micro or Norton?

Does anyone know who has a better product? My laptop came with Trend Micro, but I was thinking of switching to Norton because I've used it for years. I have had some errors with Norton, but not too bad. Thanks!
 
Personally I would suggest none. If you have the option to get Nod 32 then get it as it is the best. However if you are limited to the two posted then I would probably choose Norton.
 
Nod32? Huh, never heard of it. I'll check that out.

Yeah, AVG is good, but it missed a trojan once on my parents computer that Norton found, so I don't trust it as much anymore.
 
I'd say either Trend Micro, Nod32 or Kasperky, they're all raved about quite a lot in the media. My dad uses Kasperky and it's very effective and doesn't bother you at all really.
 
kaspersky has the best detection rates out of anything out there and has almost permanatly come out on top in reviews of various anti virus and internet security. Detection rates around 97%+ whilst the likes of norton are often found lounging in the 65% area
 
I would personally reccomend AVG free but thats just my opinion... Free of charge and never had a problem in 5 years now..
 
AVG is the worst well maybe not the wort but close to it. Actually for some reason aol security is the best!! Kinda weird but its true. I still wouldnt go with anything with aol on it!! LOL
