I picked up these 3 260gtx for "tha cheap" yesterday. This is a picture of the old 9800gtx and the 3 260's.

edit: You'll notice the middle card isn't hooked up yet, because I'm waiting on my new PSU to get here :(

Nice indeed. Maybe the case is next to update. Get some cable management for better airflow for those three cards.

Yeah, I just threw it together last night. I am going to see how much cable management I can do with that case. I'm thinking that I want a full tower though.

<3 my 700D :D

It is a very nice setup, however have you considered selling the cards and picking up a single, more powerful card?

I was thinking $75 each. What do you guys think? I thought about getting a GTX560 Ti, but i'm not sure if the performance would be more or just a slight increase.

It is a massive increase, I went from a single 260 to 560 Ti and it destroyed it, is plenty for anything whilst using a hell of a lot less power and producing less heat

a single 560ti would destory 3 260's?

Generally speaking, yes.

Tri SLI is very dependant on driver and game support. Most games don't make proper use of 3 cards anyway. If I were you, I'd sell the cards you have and pickup a 560 or 580. This way you will also have the benefit of DX11 support and you will be decreasing the amount of power that the system consumes.

I went from 260 SLI to 580 SLI and the performance increase was huge.

performance wise probably not, but taking into consideration the power draw and the heat produced the 560ti would be 1000x better
