hi like my exceedingly long title says i need help with flashing the bios of my X800GTO to that of the X850XT (or it might be the X800XL, idk i have heard both)
i went into atitool, found out that my card was unlockable, and from there i made a copy of my cards current Bios, then edited it so it will unlock the bios, downloaded atiflash and stuck that and the modified bios onto a disk and booted into it using DOS. i THOUGHT that this had worked, but after a few tests the difference i was noticing was actually the overclocking i had done with my AMD 3400... so my question for you guys now is, since i have exhausted all my routes (and all my cd's) through DOS, i need to know of another way i can do this...
i have tried making my flash drive bootable, but when i go into format, that option is greyed out, does anyone know why? first i need that question answered, then i will probably have a few more.
