Guys, what do you think about Trillian? Do you think I should use it?
I've been using MSN Messenger for quite some time now. But I'm on dialup connection, I also think that because I'm using MSN Messenger, my account is being charged twice as much, so I was thinking about using Trillian.
Any suggestions?
 
What do you mean charged?

Trillian is great if you use more than one IM service. I started using Trillian five or six years ago, and haven't went back to single IM service clients since.
 
I've noticed lately that if I start chatting using MSN messenger, then my internet bill is about 2-3 times higher than my normal usage.
Although I sit long hours downloading stuff, my bill does not amount upto that much, but if I start chatting, then my bills run high.
This does not apply for Yahoo messenger, I didn't used to have any problems with it.
 
Most of my contacts use MSN Messenger. So pedgin will not do. I don't use Linux, consequently, I don't know anything about it.
 
In Sydney, Australia, Everyone has a msn, And i wouldn't use pedgen if i couldn't use it with MSN.

pidgen CAN use MSN. And alot lot more.

Well I still think that Trillian is better.
Sure, it has less emoticon possibilities, large and exact chatting history, less loss of data and faster Files sending/taking..so all that ends up with result of paying 3 times less than with Messenger :cool:
