Trouble Deciding

Im looking at two Toshiba gaming laptops, and I want to know if the 7900gtx 512mb graphics card is a worthy tradeoff for 2bg of ram and a faster processor.
Satellite P100-S9752

Core 2 duo 5600
1gb 667 ram
7900gtx 512mb graphics card
120gb HD 5400rpm

Satellite P105-S9339

Core 2 duo 7200
2gb 667 ram
7900gs 256mb graphics card
200gb HD 4200 rpm

They both run for 1,999$.

They are about equal... the second laptop has more RAM and whatnot, but has a 4200RPM HDD. Just for that, i would get the first one. Idk tho, lets get some more opinions first.

I would get the first one and upgrade the ram later. I would try to find out if the 7900gs go is as overclockable as the one in the dell laptops, it can get close to 7900gtx stock clock speeds which has much less headroom for overclocking. Are you only willing to look at toshiba? I think dell runns the first system around the same price save the HDD. also what screens are in them, blootooth? disk drives? Make sure to take that all into consideration.

I am open to other brands, but so far these 2 seem to have the most performance to price ratio. I also noticed the Dell E1705 can have equal if not better components, spare the graphics card (7900gs), for about 300 dollars less.

Yeah I would get the Inspiron e1705, partly due to the fact that I am typing on one right now and it has served me well. Also if you look at Notebookforums.com there is a section dedicated to cipons from manafacturers and parts suppliers as well as retail stores. If I recall right there is one for 500$ off of any inspiron 1499$+ which would help a ton.
