Trouble installing SATA card

I needed more SATA ports so I bought http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R5H1MBC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

I shoved it in my motherboard, installed the drivers, and plugged in a new hard drive but it's not showing up. I know that the hard drive works because it plugged it in a USB dock. Yes, the hard drive has power. Any ideas?

If you go to compute management and click disk management under storage, do you see allocated space or a hard drive showing up there?

No. I believe that the drivers don't support Windows 10. I'm looking for an alternative card atm. Guys at my local computer shop couldn't help.

Does it even show up in device manager?

That card is super old though and a lot of people had issues migrating it to Windows 7 when the OS came out 5 years ago.

Yeah considering it only supports Sata 1.5 gbps. Very old card. Get something that supports Sata 3 such as the card Spirit posted.
