Recently when i try and log on to my profile it says "the user profile service failed the log on. User profile cannot be loaded" (i have vista). I don't know anything about computers, and since i only have one user profile available, I don't even know how to get past the log in screen to do anything to fix it. Help!

Put your Install Disk into the optical drive and keep tapping Esc while booting.
"Pretend" like you're going to install Vista, but when prompted, chose the Repair option.
