Trouble pushing Win7 image to computers : Microsoft System Center

Hey guys.

I hope I'm posting this in the right place :P New to this place, but it looks like there are a lot of knowledge in here!

So, my problem is. I have a bunch of laptops that are supposed to be scratched, and installed new software on. To do this, I use System Center to push the finished image of Windows 7 to the computers (booting via PXE).

With most of the computers, this is not a problem. But some laptops aren't able to communicate with System Center to retrieve the files via PXE.

All these computers are identical. The only thing that is a common speaker for the failing computers is that they don't have "Software Center" installed.

Very frustrating, because I didn't think a program like that should have anything to say when it comes to installing a new image.

Thoughts and ideas are very much appreciated!
Thnx in advance,
Mr.Moseng

Sometimes the NIC can be configured not to allow PXE booting via the BIOS, have you checked the non-working ones to see if that's the case? Usually its under integrated peripherals but on a lappy who knows. Should be there somewhere. Or there may be a more general boot setting that does/doesn't allow booting to PXE over LAN.
