Trouble uploading jpeg & png files via FTP

Hello,

I am currently uploading a website but i am having a little trouble, I have tried filezilla and FTP surfer to no avail, the problem is jpeg and pgn files, web pages load up just fine but these other files wont, some transfer start but seem to freeze and then time out and the FTP software re-trys until the maximum of trys has been exhausted.

Any ideas why?

check your webaccount settings. maybe your pic is to large or has to much MB. especially if you´upload to a free webpage. go for JPG compression to compress and shrink your pic's.
