Trouble with LCD

Im sure some of you might have had this trouble or there has been a post on here before about this but I just got a new 19inch LCD monitor ok at 1024x768 i have a beutiful picture but If it goes any higher the screen gets blurry. the higher I go ther blurier it gets. I have the latest drivers for my video card wich is an ATI X600. It plays games at 1024x768 without drama. I dont know of anything that could cause the problem. any ideas?

Does it get blurry only when you play games? If yes, then thats because of a slow refresh rate. Do you have the specs of the monitor?

I think he meant responce time. It should be something like 12ms.

how do I check response time?

Check the product specifications on the manufacturers homepage.

Low response time = ghosting or blur. This will make watching DVD's look lousy too.
What's your monitor? LCD's also have a native resolution where the image looks best, and anything other than that will make it look like $hit. I'm betting it's like 1280x1024.
