trouble with strange files

Please help me in the following situation:
Several days later I had copied files from my computer to
external hard disk. Durring this time there was some power difficulty
in my home so my hardware stopped. After a few minutes I turned on
my computer and I saw many files with names which contain strange ASCII code.

I would like to delete all this files but I can not do this in any software I have.
What should I do? What software I need to erase this files?
Probably it will be difficult to restore this files to some useful format (now they
have not any extensions) so I decided to remove all of them from my computer.
Please send me any good ideas...
it will be better at [email protected]

Best wishes, Zibi from Poland :):)

Here are few ways to delete certain files that cannot be deleted from NORMAL WINDOWS MODE:

-go into SAFE MODE WITH COMMAND PROMPT and delete them from there...

-Use Unlocker to terminate the process(es) which use those files in order to grant access to those files you want to delete...

-Use Process explorer to close all the opened handles or/and DLLs which use those files in order to grant access to those files you want to delete...

-Load some external operating systems such as MS-DOS or Linux Ubuntu from removable media such as CD-ROM disk and use that to delete certain files you want to delete...

-If you want to completely format (erase) something such as a certain partition or the entire HDD then use Kill Disk...

Cheers!

and UNLOCKER could not find any handle to processes contected with them :(:(

Then simply use option 4 I gave you above:

-Load some external operating systems such as MS-DOS or Linux Ubuntu from removable media such as CD-ROM disk and use that to delete certain files you want to delete...
