Trying to get into the bios on a Giga GA-X58A-UD3R and when i see the message to hit delete to get into bios i hit it and it just contniues booting up. Any one have a idea if there is another way to get in?

You must be using a usb keyboard and the bios settings need to be changed to enable usb keyboard/mouse. You will need to use a ps/2 keyboard or get an usb to ps/2 adapter and use it to go into the bios to enable usb support.

Like above. If you/it do/does. You need to get a PS/2 keyboard and when in the bios enable USB keyboard/mouse support.

and make sure to mash the button. I've got the P67A-UD3R-B3 and occasionally if i just press it once, it won't make it in.
The USB keyboard would be the main problem though, as others have said.

commp,

I just setup a computer using the same exact motherboard a few days ago.. Maybe try a different usb connection or continue to press delete until it goes into bios. I had a wireless keyboard and mouse, it worked perfectly for me.

During boot up, if you rapidly press numlock, does the numlock light go on and off? If not, you need to try another keyobard, or USB hasn't been enabled in the BIOS.
