Trying to decide between these two boards

i would get the Gigabyte! Sapphire makes good video cards but never heard anything about the Motherboards :D gigabyte is a well known good motherboard

I think I'll go for the Gigabyte as well , maybe slap a 3450
in there. Looking at them again that model Sapphire does look cheap.

Just a note, take a look at the 4350's as well, a little more powerful than the 3450's and in some places cost less(would check a website but i dont know of any spain based electronics stores).

Problem is, it's a real budget build. He aint going to notice the diff. I think he's going from a 64mb. AGP


Here's what I'm looking at for him >

Kuma 7750 black 54 euros

GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-DS4 SB600 58 euros

SAPPHIRE HD3450 - 512 Mb DDR2 32 euros

KINGSTON HyperX 1x 2 Gb DDR2-800 CL5 25 euros

500g Diamond maxtor sata2 free { I have a couple and am going to give him one}

Total 169euros.

I'm getting a case for my birthday and I was going to give him the PSU that comes with it. It's a generic 480 w 20a across the 12v. I know it's not exciting , but do you think it'll be enough. He wont be OC'n , gaming. He's got a normal 19' lcd.
