Trying to figure out which one to buy

Whats the difference between this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116758 and this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116714 besides the price. I know one is system builders and another just a vista upgrade but does it matter which one i buy?

The OEM is a Full install that will be tied to whatever computer you put it on and activate it on.

The Upgrade is a Retail upgrade, and you'll be able to "Upgrade" as many computers as you want, as long as it's only running on one computer at a time.

For future use, I would get the Retail Upgrade, unless you know you'll never install it on any other machine.

Now I just need to get over the price. It feels like I just bought vista just the other day.

If you don't need Professional, you can get Home Premium OEM for $99 if you order before 10/20

Or, you can get Vista and Windows 7 for $109.99

ya I think I will stick with the pro. I don't really need bit-locker or the language packs. Unless is there anything else that Ultimate comes with that I am not aware of?

Most people don't even need Pro, and would be happy with Home Premium.

Pro does come with "Virtual XP", but Microsoft Virtual PC is free, so I'm not sure what the draw is, except that Windows 7 comes with a virtual copy of XP.
Otherwise you'd need your own copy of XP.
