everytime i write a website without www. it brings me to ask.com any ideas why and how i can get rid of this? thanks

U must have installed Ask Toolbar, often packed along with various softwares like Nero,Foxit reader etc.
Uninstall the ask toolbar, and change ur homepage to about blank.
