trying to find HD driver

hi guys,

im trying to find drivers for my HD, i can find diagnostic tools for it but not drivers for it can anyone please help me.

It isnt common that someone would need drivers for their hard drive... or do you have a controller you need drivers for?

no controller its just coz windows is not able to install windows

oh im guessing its a sata drive?

in your bios there should be a setting to emulate IDE on your hard drive... that should take care of it.. i believe you can turn that setting off after the install.

I dont think a driver is gonna help in this case..

You don't need a driver for an (E-)IDE drive, if the setup is not recognizing it there may be something wrong with your BIOS settings, the drive itself, or the IDE controller... maybe it could be some non-standard IDE controller?

What windows are you trying to install? Are you trying to install it on the rig in your sig?
