Trying to find out a price

I am selling my all-in-one PC to my landlady and trying to find out what would be a reasonable price to sell it to her for as I am in the process of building my first system from scratch.

I have a:

HP 27-1010ea

Intel Core i3-2120
8GB DDR3-1333
SanDisk SSD Plus 120GB

Windows 10 Pro
Samsung Slim 8x DVDRW
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

All help much appreciated.

Thanks.

If it's even feasible, I'd ask to make a deal on reduction in rent for 1 month, rather than cash.?

Maybe offer machine and setup for 50% off rent for a month! That will be better value for you and might be more attractive in her eyes? All depends on how well you get along too I suppose.

I'd probably avoid the situation unless it's blatantly clear you aren't responsible for troubleshooting or the item's state after she owns it, but even then it sounds dicey.

It sounds like she would have a huge degree of leverage to drag you into fixing whatever trivial PEBKAC issues she may encounter.

This. You're very likely to end up being free tech support from her perspective and since she's in charge of your living conditions that doesn't sound like something you want to get involved with.

Yeah, maybe I'm just thinking back on my rental experiences and the great relationships I had..

However I'd listen to them (beers & Darren) and don't get involved with the person who controls your living arrangements..
