I'm trying to restore a DELL 9300 laptop back to factory new condition. It has a restore partition (saw it in disk management), but hitting CTRL + F11 while turning it on does not work. It immediately starts loading Windows XP. I even tried using BOTH CTRL buttons (along with F11) on the keyboard and it still doesn't work. Any other suggestions?

If it doesn't work then the restore process has been broken. You can try the info here to see if it can be fixed. I've had to use it in the past to get the restore program to work properly.
