which tuner/pvr card do you recommend. good but inexpensive. but not cheap?

Which is better of the hauppauge 150, 350, and the ati radion all in one 9600.

of the 3 above, the all in one is the only one that will replace my graphics card, right?

is the graphics card in that better than my current one, the nvidia gforce 64?
Although when I click on desktop/properties, it says nvidia gforce4 mx420. Are they the same thing? Or is the 64 better or is the one that says mx420 better.

But bottom line I wanna know if the ati graphic is better than the nvidia I have
 
Hmm maybe you meant 64 mb of ram on the gfx card? Thats the card I'm using right now.

My brother has a 9600 AIW, he likes it and watches tv on his computer a lot.
 
i dissagree.....personally going through a separate card for my tv has shown overall better quality of the picture, hence why i bought a hauppauge PCI tuner card :P
 
thats ok i was meaning between ati and nvidia.
A seperate dedicated card is always better then a mixed vga/tuner card.

If I do not play a lot or any gaming, is there any need to improve my graphics card, for whichever one you decide I have. That was an upgrade when I bought the computer last year.

Does it improve TV picture quality at all? or streaming video quality at all? or downloaded videos at all?

If your not playing games then theirs no real reason to upgrade :D .
Just make sure you get a decent TV card, and your picture quality will be good.

As it turns out, because Dell messed up and told me I could use their concession coupons over the phone, but they could not find a way to do it. I am getting the Hauppauge 350 tuner card/pvr for TOTALLY FREE and getting to keep my 2 $90 coupons to use online

Pretty Good...HuH???
