Turion 64 in a Desktop Motherbroad

I have recently Upgraded My laptop from a Turion 1.6 Ghz to a Turion 2.0 Ghz and have the Old CPU laying Around(in an Anti Stactic Bag of Course ).

Im Building a Desktop System and im wondering since The turion is Socket 754 if i can just stick it in a Socket 754 Motherbroad or if that wont work.

Yes you can put it in a socket 754 board.
