okay i put this under laptops and got no responses so im gonna put it here.
i have been looking at laptops and i wanted to know if any of the turion cpu's are any good for gaming if so which one?
thanks

yea, they're basically the same thing as the athlon 64's with different model names. also, they use a little bit less power... for longer battery life.
they're all kind of good. try to get an MT model rather than an ML.
newegg sells MT models but most prebuilt (i know HP) sell them with ML's.
the MT models use less power and have the same performance so you get longer battery life.
basically you'll want a better graphics card for gaming... rather than concentrating on gaming.
btw for your signature...

you could put "i must not be pushing my overclock hard enough, my computer hasn't crashed in 3 days" lol i always liked that one.

...They are all good for gaming. Not really sure what you're asking...as long as the processor meets the recommended requirements you should get decent gameplay.

The Semprons and Turions are about on par, minus the apps that benefit greatly from larger cache, in that case the Turion would pull ahead. I got the Sempron, it plays games decently from waht I can tell. Main concern is gfx and RAM really.

agreed you'll want at least 1gb and a half-way decent graphics card.
i hear the x1400 and 7400's (ATI and NVidia's mobile graphics cards) have good power usage vs. performance ratio.
Pentium M is what i would get though... Turion is good too though
