Turn on fail

Hi guys,

Am having a serious problem with my laptop. its an HP pavilion TX2110us model.

Problem is when i turn on the power button the light indicators all show but the screen stays black. tried to keep it for 1hr and still the same. i even removed the memory ram each separately and still the same.

I was wondering what could be the reason and how can i get it fixed.

Any help would be appreciated and Thank you

Have you tried connecting to an external monitor to see what is happening in the laptop? Presumably you don't even know it's booted up. Simplest would be via VGA. Windows startup sound?

Thanks for the reply.

No there is no sound at all. just the blue light indicators are on and the fan seems to be working.
 
Connecting to external monitor is still essential. If it's not booting, you have no idea why until you can see what is going on. Serious boot problems will be accompanied by audible beep codes.

I did connect the external monitor and still the same. i even completely remove screen on the laptop witht he connector and started it.. i still got the same result. i get all the indicator lights but it wont show any thing just Black screen.
 
With no visual or audible indication it's impossible to troubleshoot. The screen is not even showing the POST display so you are stumped. I would take it into a repair shop.
