turn on problem

my friends lap top (windows me) froze up so we held the power button
in to shut down now it wont come back on... anybody have any ideas??
the power "on" light just blinks, any thoughts are appreciated thanks
 
It's in hibernation. One click of the power button "should" bring it back on. But if it doesn't work, unplug the laptop & remove the battery for a minute. Reconnect everything and then it should be able to power on after that.

i tried that and still nothing
 
If the battery has one of them lights under it that u press and it tells u how much battery power u have left.Hold that down and then try.
worked for me.
