For the last couple years, I've connected my desktop (Windows 8.1) in office, to flatscreen in living room, via hdmi an wireless keyboard with touchpad. I couldn't be happier with the results, as I stream all of my TV.
I've been trying to come up with a way to make a customizable 'info' screen, for when I'm working around the house but within sight of the TV.
I would like to have an animated weather radar of my state, along with maybe a small forecast.
Various news feeds
Possibly Trending YouTube videos, and possibly a search function.
Pandora player controls, as I frequently listen to music while working around the house.
All tied up into a decently looking bundle.
Well anyway I just thought I'd do a little brainstormin, and see if anyone had any ideas that could get me a little closer to what I'm looking for.
I'd appreciate any thoughts on the subject!
