TV Monitor

How do you make your TV into a monitor? Something like a TV jack or something? Lol, I have no idea, I just thought it would be nice to play things like BF2 or WoW on my 30 inch.

With a conventional CRT TV, the resolution's only 720x480 and the image is intropolated. Over your head? In other words, high resolutions look like crap on a TV :P

If you really want something that'll look good, you need a large Plasma or LCD with VGA or DVI inputs; something that can actually handle the typical resolutions we run our computers at.

I personally think a plasma tv is a waste of money, because it has a half life of 60,000 hours. I know that is a lot but it doesnt have to loose half of its color to look bad, basically after about 4-8 years depending on how much u use it it will be faded already. DLP and LCD tv's dont do that.

Ya that is kinda crappy, but I think people who can afford Plasma TV's can buy a new one if that happens! :D

Ya, but why not get a DLP? It has almost as good color quality, and even though the viewing angle is less it is more than enough.
EDIT: Nvm, rich people dont care, lol
