hey i have an RCA CRT TV and i have it hooked up to my computer through s-video....i have an ATI Radion 9250 128mb vid card. Ok my TV res is really bad so when I'm viewing like a web page or any text...well pretty much anything it has red, blue and green lines coming out of it so i cant read anything...the only thing that i can really work on it is a movie so is there any way to make it so i can actually use my TV to have a web page on it and read it.

If any of that made sense could you please reply and possibly tell me what to do

Upgrade your TV? :P

Standard TV's run at 720x480 interlaced. Your monitor's much higher, and non-interlaced. The conversion makes for some really low quality. There's not much else that can be said or done... If you run your computer at a very low res, text might be visable.

im lookin for something cheap and big that i can watch tv and use as a moniter......which there is no such thing as so forget it....i have like 5 USD to my name :P

Of course, normal televisions have dismally low resolutions, with very low refresh rates, which is going to kill your eyes.

i have a 17in CRT monitor that is really bad...i think the power cord in the back...like inside the monitor is loose so if my desk shakes its all *buzz* and the screen fades out
