tv-out problem, tv has only RF SIGNAL

VCR doesn't work, bought a RF modulator which also doesn't work.

It has to be a direct connection from the TV to the video card but the TV only has a RF cable.

so would a RF TO RCA adapter work ?

No, because you're still dealing with RF (Radio Frequency) signals, and you need Line Level signals.

You have to have Line Level TV output jacks (either from a VCR or a television set) to feed the Line Level video card inputs.
