tv pc monitor, not fullscreen help please

There is a 1 inch black border around my picture, is this a limitation of my video card, or is there a way to fill out the screen?

47 inch lcd tv
ati 1650x pro card

Is that around the whole picture or only at the sides? There should be an option in the TV itself to adjust this.

What TV is it? Make/model? The GFX card shouldn't be the problem.

Its around the entire border, I think your right because the same thing happens in vista or linux. Ill look at the options in my tv setup, thanks a lot.

Its a 47 inch phillips lcd, not sure of model.
