My dad is trying to set up his laptop to his TV, and uses Svideo cable...
The thing is connected correctly, and it works as an extension of his laptop screen. What he wants is to let the TV see the same thing as his laptop screen.
With the windows screen settings, he can't drag the 2nd(TV) monitor over the 1st(laptop) monitor, it will arrange it's self on one side of the 1st monitor.
So please tell us how to let the TV show the same thing as the laptop!
Alternat would be to link to a guide for setting up the laptop to show movies on a TV monitor.

Dont go into windows screen settings yet, deselect the "extend my desktop to ..." option for now

it his laptop so when he plugs in the tv cable into the side of the laptop he probably need to press some sombination of keys. Something like fn + F7 of something to that effect. Normally pressing this once will enable to laptop to display picture from the monitor port and the laptop screen will turn blank, pressing it again will enable both screen to show the same thing. Try this

And what laptop is it (make and model)
