TV Tuner Card

I have a Conceptronic Tuner Card which I don't like because it does not work with Media Centre in Vista and Windows 7. Can you suggest a good TV Tuner card which works with Windows 7 Media Centre?

Thanks

Most WinTV cards work well. I have a PVR-150 and it's great; though it's only SD. You didn't specify if you wanted SD or HD. But whatever you end up purchasing, I would highly recommend finding one with on-board compression. Without on-board compression, much more processing power is required from the PC, especially when capturing.

What is your setup?

You running from cable box as your tuner

OR

Are you running a TV antenna / or direct line ( no cable box ) from Cable company - to use the tuner inside your PC to tune your channels?

I'm running my Powercolor 550 off my Cable box and been quite happy with the picture quality.:good:

I have a digital cable box.

I have a digital cable box.

If you use a splitter off the coaxial output on your digital cable box - it should be an analog output and you should be able to use any analog card with your box as a tuner and remote control. That's what I'm doing.

I have no experience with digital tuner - but I'd imagine you could run them off an external antenna - OR direct from your Cable line input - split before it goes to your cable box.
