So if i buy a tv tuner card, do i plug it into the cable in my wall, or can i plug it into like a directv reciever. So after its connected to my computer can i record shows to my hard drive, and is that difficult or is there like a program that can do it for you. Im just a little confused.

O and is there anything i should look for in a tv tuner that makes it good, or that i shouldnt buy one without?

i bought tv tuner for 40$ got a cd with drivers and program to watch and record, got a cable with infra red support so i can use my remote controller (got it with tv tuner), a short cable (about 15cm) which goes from tv tuner to sound card to establish the sound from the tvshow ur watching and thats it, but i got some shity tv tuner software so i can't view teletext, i gotta use multiple programs to record and then switch to another program to view teletext:mad:

What card did you you get filip? My card came with everything i needed and teletext and i didnt pay but around $30 for it.

It says Easy TV WDM TVTuner, don't know if thats the full name of the product, I can see the teletext but with another program, but that program doesn't have quality recording so when i want to record i have to switch to another program, can u tell me the name of the program you got, and about prices; i bought it about half a year ago, and prices in croatia are bigger than in U.S., example cheapest 512MB ddr400 about 80$, and in U.S. u can get a 1 gig of ddr400 for 85$

I know a bunch of people are anti-ATI, but I have an older ATI ehomewonder and it works great...
