TV Tuner

Is this TV tuner any good? Its got everything i want but should i get a different one or should this work just fine? Thanks in advance

Not alot of experience with Tv tuners, I hear Hauppauge is a good brand however.... :shrugs:

just bought one of these tho other day. works great. the remote is a pain in the ass to set up, but other than that, its a great product.

also,i have found that if it is too close to your psu the quality diminishes. i just have mine in the lowest pci slot and its great.

I have direct TV so if i have a line coming in to the tuner i will only be able to record or watch one channel at a time right? Even with a dual tuner i would only be able to watch/record one channel at a time unless i had another line coming in right?

Yup.

Although you might be able to use a splitter and run another cable line from the splitter into the first tuner and another line from the splitter to the second tuner.
