tv tunner

That thing is EXACTLY like a cheapo K-World tuner I got a while back, right down to the remote. It was a total piece :P

But as for Linux, probably the biggest thing would be to look at the chipset. If you can find what the main chip is on the board (as there are usually common ones among these) you could probably see which ones would work with Linux.

However, also remember everything works on Linux :P (well, nearly everything ;) )

well what tv tunner are everyones else running and how do u like it cuz i really want one and i only have about 40 bucks to spend tops

I'm happy with mine - and it only cost me 25 bucks.

In fact, I'm watching the Steelers game right now as I type this on my second monitor.

I'm using the Win 7 Drivers - Media player to control it - not sure how you would go about controlling it on Linux - but the picture for a standard def tuner card is superb. I can watch it on my 22" monitor in Widescreen - and it looks better than my Standard Def television.

FYI - It's just a card - no remote - works for me - b/c I didnt' need one for what I wanted - using a Cable box as a tuner. But Your needs may differ.
