Hey I was wondering what I would all need if I wanted to get my TV in my house to show up on my monitor. I heard you were able to have a small box or something on your monitor and watch TV while you are on the computer itself. I have 2 Evga Geforce 6800 video cards in SLI. Just post what items and any other information that I might need to do this.

And would the same thing go with useing my TV at home as monitor for my computer?

at tigerdirect.com you can get this video thing and it has pop (picture on Picture) so you can watch tv on your monitor while your using your computer and i think its around 50.00$ and it might have a/v inputs cause i know it has to use a coax and it comes with a remote
 
If you just want it on your monitor, they have such external boxes as those. If you want it on your computer(so you can capture it and all) you'll need a capture card of some sort.
