Two HDs Do Not work Can They Be Fixed

I have 2 hds they do not work I had them hooked to a 8 1/2 yr old computer 1 is a 1tb seagate the other is a 1.5tb wester digital. Now I just got a a newer 3.2ghz computer with 1gb ram is there any way I can get these 2 hds fixed so I can used them on my newer computer??

When you say that they don't work, what doesn't work about them?

No computer can read them maybe bad sectors

I had a drive that would lock my computer up when accessing it.
I ran SpinRite 6 on it and it fixed it right up.
It saved all my valued files.
SpinRite runs on DOS.
