I have two monitors (HP LE1901w- 19in)+(HP2009m- 20in)
but my computer only recognizes one (Generic Non-PnP Monitor)

Here are my specs-
Intel Pentium CPU G3240 @3.10Ghz
Windows 10 Pro
RAM 8.00GB
64-Bit Processor
NVIDIA GEForce GT 610

I have installed the software for the HP LE1901w (Still have the CD)
but the HO2009m was a pawn shop monitor, so no CD

Both mointors are set at 1280x800- 60Hertz
with a VGA Splitter to VGA

I have uninstalled the Generic monitor, but it always comes back.

Anything else just ask.

Thanks Ashley W

I have figured out the problem.

The two monitors I'm running on are designed for a 32bit OS. I'm running a 64 bit OS.

Going to try and go down to a 32 bit OS to see if that clears up anything.

32bit/64bit has nothing to do with it. You do not need to install driver for monitors. Windows will use generic drivers. As long as you have the video card drivers installed then everything should work.

I suspect that the issue is with the splitter. VGA splitters are used for spreading the same signal to 2 monitors. However that take an impact on the signal strength.
I believe you might be using cheap cables. The signal for one of the monitors might not be strong enough. It's a theory.

In general i wound't use VGA at all. Why can't you connect both monitor to your graphic card without splitters?
It has both a HDMI and a DVI input.

WHAT??? LOL

Monitors aren't made specific for use with 32 or 64 bit... this has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Its probably the shitty splitter or cable causing you issues.
