Two Screen Desktop Computer Set Up

Is there a way to have two computer screens hooked to the same CPU?

You mean computer? Yes. You needa video card with two Video out slots, or you can use two video cards.

Is that how short the wires are that go to the screens?

no, but the monitor cable that goes to the computer goes into the little wire

So I just get one of those and plug the center wire into the CPU and then the moniter cables into each of the side ones, seems pretty easy and cheap. The connection is good and won't blink on and off will it?

Well, both monitors will be identicle, as in, they will display the edzact same thing. If thats what you want then go for the splitter, but if you want to use the second monitor as a another desktop, then you would need to do what i suggested before.
