Uber-Glitchy Screen

For all those who helped me with the power supply problem, thank you very much. It did end up being a bad power supply, so it's all working now. There is one problem that has surfaced since installing Windows XP, however: When I scroll down on an internet page or move a window, it gets very glitchy. The window moves very slowly and blankness is left in its wake for a few seconds. When I scroll down, I experience a similar problem. Any ideas as to what I could do to eliminate this problem?

Well i inserted the video card driver CD and went to install the driver and it says that it has not passed "windows logo testing" to verify compatibility. It says that installing this can make my system unstable now or in the future and it strongly suggests that I stop installation. Is this something that happens often and should be ignored or do I really need to contact Nvidia and get different software?

Visual Basic told me the same thing when I tried to install it on my laptop... I ignored it's warnings and everything worked out.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Not that I don't trust you Wungoodshu, but I need to see if it is common. Thanks.

Yes, it is a very common occurrence, and it will not cause system instability like it proposes. Just ignore it.
