I have tried 3 times to download Ubuntu 10.04 into my HP laptop (2X on the windows installer and once on flash drive). Every time so far, it installs fine, but when i go in to log in it gets to the user name (where you click to enter the password) and freezes (during the sound it gives off.). It freezes everything (mouse, keyboard, all input except the power button). I am currently trying to download and write to a disk and see if that works.
I have ordered a disk from them, but it wont ship 'till 10.10 comes out, then it will be 4-6 weeks in shipping.
Does anyone know what is going on with the freezing??
