J Jocklad New Member May 12, 2012 #1 Have an old Tiny machine,P3 512 Ram. Was running flawlessly on Ubuntu 11.10 and tried to update from CD to 12.04 with a clean Install. System freezes at details page. Any help much appreciated. Jocklad

DMGrier VIP Member May 12, 2012 #2 It may not be compatible with your hardware, every new release some older hardware is no longer supported. I know your hardware is compatible due to the fact that 12.04 uses less hardware then 11.10 or at least it did on my computer.
