ok so i was able to install ubuntu on my main pc as a secondary os, i burned it to a dvd, like the instructions said, then i downloaded there windows installer thingy, my question is, and please be EXTRA specific if you can do that, how can i put umbutu on a pc with no windows, no os at all?

i know its free to use ubuntu but how do i install it on a new build ?? without having windows with it?
 
I think what you have installed is wubi, this is basically Ubuntu inside Windows. I would avoid it (but that's another matter ;P).

You need to download the desktop version. Burn it to a DVD, insert it into the PC, boot from it and install it. Simples!
