Uk PC parts

I've finally decided to build my own pc, however i need to look into prices for various components in the uk

So far i have found ebuyer.co.uk but are there any other sites that deliver in the UK. Couldn't find many on a google search or any on a forum search.

Thanks

Don't go with Ebuyer. I absolutely hate that company. I'm sure many of you have had good experiences with them but I had an absolute nightmare of an experience with them and shoddy quality components. I had to return just under a £1000's worth of equipment! :\.

My number one website for components, although they are pricey, everything I have purchased from them has been very reliable and I haven't had to return one item to them that I can remember, is: http://www.overclockers.co.uk.

A few other websites that I use for computer components are:

http://www.dabs.com
http://www.komplett.co.uk

But my main one is Overclockers. Every PC that I have built (for myself and others) the components for those have come from Overclockers mainly, and if not then the other two I listed.

www.microdirect.co.uk

Myself and members of my family have bought off them for several years now and we haven't had a single problem with them.

I would also recommend www.dabs.com ; as eventhough the speakers i bought of them didn't work the returns process was really easy.

The only problem with Scan is that, in my opinion, their website is rubbish. The home page offers you around 30 links to different categories, all of which are in tiny font and crammed together in the top banner.

Thanks for the replys. Finding dabs the best to work my way around, although i can see how it helps when you know exactly what you're looking for :P Time to try and find a system to meet my needs.

scan, microdirect, aria

but even though rovewolf suggested not to I have found Ebuyer to be perfect for me every time. I've spent easily in excess of £3000 with them over the years and I have found them to generally be the cheapest and to have a good customer service when called upon. PErsonally they would be my main recommend

Yep, i couldn't agree more. I've never had a single problem with ebuyer and their service is second to none.;)

Another one to keep in mind though is www.misco.co.uk.

That's quite surprising. There are a few of my main friends that build PC's often and every one of them have also ran into issues with dodgy components when purchasing from Ebuyer. We did find that they had amazing customer service, but judging from the experience I and close ones have had with them component quality wise, they need it as it's used, often.

As with all companies, everyone will have difference experiences with them, it just seems that myself and the people I know have had bad, where as you lucky guys have had good.
